CHILDREN
PRAYER AND CONFESSION
Father I praise you for you are good and your mercy endures forever.
Father God I thank you for the wonderful privilege of coming before you with prayer and confession for my children. Your Word says, “Allow the children to come to Me--do not forbid or prevent or hinder them--for to such belongs the kingdom of God.”
Father God I bring my children to you, I refuse to prevent or hinder them from coming to you I know that they belong to you.
I lift up ____________________ (name the children before God), before you today with praise.
My children are my heritage and my reward from you Lord; they are the fruit of my womb which bring me great delight. My children are like olive plants round about my/our table which bud, bloom and blossom, everyday in every good and godly way. I am a joyful mother/father/grandmother etc. of godly children. The children whom the Lord has given me are for signs and wonders in the earth. They are like arrows in the hand of a mighty man; they are fashioned and trained to hit their predestined targets daily. Their course and journeys in life are directed and established by the Lord. Lord you orchestrate and navigate their every step along the way. Though he/she falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord grasps his/her hand in support and upholds them.
Lord your word declares, He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.
Jesus you are their Good Shepherd and you gave your life for every lamb and every sheep. You are the Shepherd, Guardian and Bishop of their souls; therefore they shall not want/lack for any good thing. You make them to lie down in green pastures and lead them beside the still waters. You restore, nourish and transform their souls through the renewing of their minds causing them to live in the blessing of being fruitful; multiplying, replenishing, subduing and having dominion in the earth.
My children are blessed and highly favored of you Lord. They are blessed when they come in and blessed when they go out, they are the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath because they listen diligently to your words Father, following and obeying your commands. They are more than conquerors through Christ that loves, strengthens and abides within them.
Their God given gifts and talents make room for them and bring them before great people for the purposes and strategies of your Kingdom. Father God before you formed them in the belly you knew and approved them as your chosen instruments and before they were born you separated, set apart, consecrating them and appointing them for your own plans and purposes.
My/our children obey me/us as their parent/s in the Lord, for this is right. They honor me/us as their mother and father which is the first commandment with promise because of this my/our children will live long on the earth and it will be well with them.
All of my children shall be disciples, taught by the Lord and obedient to His will, and great shall be the peace and undisturbed composure of my children. Your peace entitles them to prosperity, soundness, completeness, safety, health, welfare, contentment, peaceful relationships with God and man-kind.
They shall be established in righteousness (rightness, in conformity with God's will and order): they shall be far from even the thought of oppression or destruction, for they shall not fear, and from terror, for it shall not come near them. Though there maybe those who gather together and stir up strife against my children, I know that it was not sent by you, Father God. Therefore whoever stirs up strife against my children will fall and surrender to you, Lord. But no weapon that is formed against my children shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against them in judgment I declare and prove to be in the wrong. This (peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition) is the heritage of the servants of the Lord (those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced); this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from you, Lord; this is that which you impart to them as their justification.
Father, you are the God of our hope, I pray that you would fill our children with all joy and peace in believing (through the experience of their faith) that by the power of the Holy Spirit they may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope.
Father, grant to our children a spirit of wisdom and revelation, of insight into mysteries and secrets, in the deep and intimate knowledge of Christ. By having the eyes of their heart flooded with light, so that they can know and understand the hope to which You have called them, and how rich their glorious inheritance in the saints, and so that they can know and understand what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of Your power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of Your mighty strength, which You exerted in Christ when You raised Him from the dead and seated Him at Your own right hand in the Heavenly places.
Father, you have begun a good work in my/our children and I know and am confident that you will complete the work you started.
Father I petition today for your grace and mercy to over-flow in their lives, helping them to make the right choices and resist the wrong voices. They hear your voice Father and the voice of strangers they will not follow for they know not the voice of strangers. Father, I thank you that you said you would never leave or forsake them. Your love can never fail them. They are safe under the shadow of your wings.
Father, you are great and greatly to be praised. Thank you for your love and care of my/our children.
Lord I am glad and I rejoice before you, yes, I do rejoice exceedingly. I sing unto Father, I sing praises to your Name: I extol you that ride upon the heavens by your Name, and rejoice before you.
For great is the peace of my/our children today and everyday, Amen.
