prayer for children children
The following prayer can be spoken by faith for your spiritual and natural children. If you do not currently have children you can begin to pray this for the children you someday desire to have. This prayer/confession can also be prayed for children in general regardless of their age and/or if they are physically your children by birth  i.e.: grandchildren, neighborhood children, nieces, nephews, foster children, cousins, daycare children or whomever God puts on your heart to pray for. I encourage you to read and meditate the scripture references (at least one or two of them) before praying. This will help build your faith and strengthen your confidence in what you are praying. Knowing what God’s will is for children will help heighten your expectation to see the manifestation of what you are praying and confessing.

Remember to guard your mouth as you go about your day, refrain from negative speaking concerning your children and/or other children you are praying for.  Speak good, wholesome God inspired words over your children everyday no matter what you see in the natural. Know this, in due season God’s Word will come to past and change the seen (visible) to line up with the unseen (invisible). Just be patient, keep praying and trusting in God, He will not fail you or your children. Don’t pray this prayer and then go out and speak negative words about your children even if the facts are negative. The truth has the power to change facts no matter how impossible the situation may seem. Say what you want to see according to the scriptures, not what you currently have or are seeing.

Be persistent and stay consistent in your prayers and confessions and remain in faith, never doubting, and watch God turn the darkness of night into the Light of day.  Watch your children begin to flourish and grow in the plans and purposes that God had for them even before they were born.

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Genesis 1:3

God is always faithful to perform His Word.

Nehemiah 4:13-15 (MSG)
So I stationed armed guards at the most vulnerable places of the wall and assigned people by families with their swords, lances, and bows. After looking things over I stood up and spoke to the nobles, officials, and everyone else: "Don't be afraid of them. Put your minds on the Master, great and awesome, and then fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes."  Our enemies learned that we knew all about their plan and that God had frustrated it. And we went back to the wall and went to work. From then on half of my young men worked while the other half stood guard with lances, shields, bows, and mail armor. Military officers served as backup for everyone in Judah who was at work rebuilding the wall. The common laborers held a tool in one hand and a spear in the other. Each of the builders had a sword strapped to his side as he worked. I kept the trumpeter at my side to sound the alert.
